Broncos Chiefs recap

The seemed like they were just out of sync the whole game. Too many dropped passes, a fumble and other miscues. Hopefully the next game in Denver will be better because they can make adjustments. They have to get after the passer and bring pressure but also mix it up. You have to throw off Manning's timing. When you throw off his timing it gives you a greater chance of winning. You can't just press all the time unless your corners are very good at jamming also known as bump and run. It just seemed like the Chiefs weren't ready to play. That doesn't mean that Reid didn't prepare them well. It just seemed like with all the drop passes that they were nervous but you also have to give credit to the Broncos breakdown of the Chiefs. No sacks were given up by the Broncos. When two good teams play it mostly comes down to the team that makes the least mistakes and the one that capitalizes on those mistakes will win. It should be a much better performance in two weeks.

Lebron leaving Cleveland for Miami

God doesn't pick winners he will put you in position to win. Lebron had a vision to go to Miami and win multiple championships. When Lebron first went to Miami they were in position to win when they were up 2-0 against the Mavericks. No one is going to give you a championship you have to earn it. So after they had lost they didn't like the feeling of being that close and not achieving the trophy. So next year they won against the Thunder. Then next year against the Spurs which was their toughest challenge. Particular in game 6 when the tape and the trophy started coming out the saw that and the Heat begin to wake up. God allowed that to come out to let them know that they could potentially lose and that sparked the Heat and they came back and won. No one boxed out Bosh and the rest is history. The Heat still had to win game 7 but the Spurs were already mentally defeated and frustrated and you can see it through Duncan's expression after missing two close shots. God puts people in position to win. We hear it all the time when a coach says that we beat ourselves. This year the Heat will have their toughest test against the undefeated Pacers.

Final Steelers vs Lions 37-27

Steelers changed their game plan at half time and the Lions didn't adjust. The coverage on Johnson at the 13th minute mark in the 4th quarter. Then the Lions made a terrible call going for it when they should have kicked the field goal and took the points. The momentum swung in Pittsburgh favor and they marched 97 yards and scored. The Lions would have been up by 10 points and they was no need to go for it with the risk at hand. When your defense is playing pretty good then you don't need to take risks like that. Good game Pittsburgh and the Lions need readjust their game plan next time.

Ohio State vs Illinois 60-35

Eventhough Illinois scored 35 points against Ohio State which was the most given up all season. No need to worry about their standings. In football it's about winning games. Illinois was 2 and 7 coming in. 2 wins and 7 losses. When you coaching a team like illinois and you are playing an undefeated team like Ohio State sometimes it can be easy to hype your team up to play. Illinois if they won could've turned their season around mentally and ended their season on a positive note. They can take away some positive things away this game. I believe that Ohio State can compete against Alabama & Florida State. Commentators were worried because Illinois put up some points but ever since I played football teams that weren't that good wanted to be the team to knock you off. The way Hyde is running Ohio State only looks tougher and tougher to beat.

Megatron vs. Ike Taylor

It's obvious that Pittsburgh best corner Taylor would be on Megatron but once you see that he needs help then the Steelers need to give him some. The touchdown when Johnson scored after being on his knees. Ike should have used a better technique. Ike is a good corner he just has to change his technique. If he would have stayed in his back pedal a little while longer he would have seen where the quarterback was going. He was already close to the endzone so his back pedal had to be a little slower. Detroit should have more points than 24. Pittsburgh is playing on thin ice. They should have press coverage at times on Johnson with a safety spying Johnson. Why? Because you know the Stafford will target Johnson a lot during the game. Pittsburgh Coordinator Dick needs to tweak his defense a little. I understand that 2004 that has been #1 in several categories but times change as different players come into the league. If they don't change their defense (Steelers) then it will be a long day & i will be surprised if they win. I do like the fact that Offensive coordinator Haley is putting the ball in Brown's hands their play maker. When you have special player like that it is imperative that you draw up plays to put the ball in your playmakers hands. They need to continue doing that and fix the problems on defense.
